You can established a link between Magento and the affiliate platform TradeTracker.

The link will ensure the affiliates on TradeTracker with a feed of your products which they can download. Through the link with Magento it will automatically show the current feed products. The affiliates can also download your banners.

The affiliates can then convert these products and/or banners on their website. When visitors click on any of these products or banners, they are directed to the shop. Through a tracking system the amount of visitors will be measured for referral in the sales results.

The affiliate then gets a commission of the sales. The height of this commission can be set from the TradeTracker management environment itself. In general the number of sales affiliates increases as the commission increases. Thus, the turnover of www.kingsandqueensonline.com nearly tripled after the commission was set for 14% for TradeTracker.

A part of this commission goes to the affiliate (70%), but there is also a part that goes to TradeTracker (30%).

Calculation example: 70% (affiliate) /30% (network)

Order value: € 90, – (plus tax and shipping)

Net affiliate commission (excluding network margin): 9%

Commission affiliate (70%) = 9%

Total fee including network (100%) = 9% / 0,7 = 12.9%

Commission Affiliate (9%) on product Z: € 8.10

Commission network (12.9% – 9% = 3.9%) = € 3.51

Total commission paid by advertiser: € 8.10 + € 3.51 = € 11.61
